In march 2008 Bart Noorman launched a revolutionary multimedia DVD for music education, which combines movies, PDFs, mp3s and midi in a highly transparent interface, stuffed with practical exercises. A lot of attention is payed to the concept of harmonic tension and release, but I contributed to the Section which explains the same principle on a rhythmic level. The affiliated song is called Sin Explicación. On the VMS-website you can step inside the program and watch its movie in the Section about clave.
